Help us put the NWT Arts Strategy Into Action

What is this engagement about?

The Government of the Northwest Territories is drafting a new NWT Arts Strategy. In March 2019, the government completed Phase I: Arts Strategy Research and Drafting.

Our next step is Action Planning and we want your help!

How do I participate?

There are opportunities to take part by participating in this online forum, by email, by phone, by mail or at in-person events across the territory listed under key dates to the right.

Two tools will collect your thoughts on this online forum.

  • Your Arts Ideas: a series of discussion forums based on key themes from the draft NWT Arts Strategy. Each include sample questions to kick off the conversation and all forums are interactive to encourage open dialogue on these key topics.
  • Your Arts Priorities: A short, two question survey where we ask participants to rank important concepts in arts support by priority.

If you do not wish to post your comment publically, please send us an email, but we encourage you to post publicly to foster engagement amongst the creative community.

By participating in this engagement, you agree to allow us to use your answers to guide our new NWT Arts Strategy Action Plan, and as needed, inform other GNWT strategic initiatives in the future.

In order to collect accurate demographics and stakeholder information, all users will be required to register on this site in order to take part.
