At $210.30 million in value, tourism is the Northwest Territories’ second-largest industry. It got there in part because of the GNWT’s Tourism 2020 investment strategy delivered since 2016. The timelines are almost up on the strategy, and we’re now considering the next steps.
So let’s talk tourism, NWT! Share your thoughts and ideas about tourism and how it should be developed here to inform the next tourism strategy kicking off in 2021.

What We Heard reports will be produced and posted to this website and the Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment’s document library. Then, a tourism strategy will be produced by late-2020.
