This engagement has concluded
With fluctuating water levels and increased usage, the Prelude and Prosperous Boat Launches are in need of replacement.
Two public meetings were held on September 13, 2018 from 1215-1pm and 5:15 to 6pm for residents, members of the public, and any other stakeholders to share their feedback on preliminary plans.
Those who could not attend were encouraged to email the GNWT's Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment - North Slave Region with any questions, clarifications, or comments.
A short background information item was shared on the Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment's website and distributed via social media, newspaper and social media advertisement, direct outreach to known stakeholders, and at the engagement sessions themselves.
In the Q+A bar, you can find a summary of key areas of inquiry which arose in submissions, and the Department's response to each of them.
The Department has collected feedback for consideration as the project moves to the design phase. New drawings will be shared once they are available to inform those interested ahead of the construction process.
